“Sliders” is a science-fiction television series that aired from 1995 to 2000. The show follows a group of travelers who use a device called a “Sliding Timer” to “slide” between different parallel universes, each with its own unique version of reality. The main character, Quinn Mallory, invents the Sliding Timer and leads the group on their adventures, which include encounters with alternate versions of historical events and famous people, as well as dealing with the consequences of changing the course of history. The show starred Jerry O’Connell, Sabrina Lloyd, Cleavant Derricks, and John Rhys-Davies.
