He first gained fame as the lead singer of the heavy metal band White Zombie, which was known for its heavy, groove-based sound and horror-themed lyrics. After White Zombie disbanded, Zombie launched a successful solo career, releasing several albums that fused heavy metal with industrial and electronic music, and which also incorporated elements of horror and shock rock. In addition to his music career, Zombie has also directed several horror films, including “House of 1000 Corpses,” “The Devil’s Rejects,” and “Halloween.”
