Mrs Eaves Roman Lining by Emigre is a font based on the title logo from the Radiohead album Hail to the Thief,

Mrs Eaves is a serif typeface designed by Zuzana Licko in 1996. It is a revival of the classic Baskerville font, with subtle modifications to give it a more contemporary feel. Named after Sarah Eaves, the mistress of John Baskerville, the typeface features elegant curves and high contrast between thick and thin strokes, lending it a sophisticated yet readable appearance. Mrs Eaves is versatile, suitable for both print and digital applications, and comes in a variety of weights and styles. Its refined, classic design makes it popular for use in editorial design, books, and branding, where a timeless, elegant look is desired.

Hail to the Thief, released by Radiohead in 2003, is an album that blends rock, electronic, and experimental elements with politically charged lyrics. It marked a return to a more guitar-driven sound after the ambient, electronic-heavy Kid A and Amnesiac. The album explores themes of political unrest, media manipulation, and societal disillusionment, reflecting the anxiety of the post-9/11 world. Songs like “2 + 2 = 5,” “There There,” and “Go to Sleep” convey a sense of urgency and frustration, while tracks like “A Wolf at the Door” offer a more haunting, intimate perspective. Hail to the Thief received critical acclaim for its complex soundscapes and its sharp commentary on contemporary issues. Although it remains one of the band’s more accessible albums, it also retains Radiohead’s signature sense of experimentation, solidifying their reputation for pushing musical boundaries and tackling timely, provocative themes.
