Franz Ferdinand is a Scottish rock band formed in 2002. The band consists of Alex Kapranos on vocals and guitar, Bob Hardy on bass, Paul Thomson on drums, and Julian Corrie on keyboards and guitar. Franz Ferdinand’s music is characterized by their danceable indie rock sound and sharp, witty lyrics. The band gained international success with their hit single “Take Me Out” from their self-titled debut album, released in 2004. They have since released several successful albums, including “You Could Have It So Much Better” and “Tonight: Franz Ferdinand”.
