The movie follows Blade as he teams up with a young doctor (N’Bushe Wright) to stop a powerful vampire named Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff) from unleashing a virus that would turn humans into vampires. Blade was one of the first successful Marvel superhero movies, paving the way for the future success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
