“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is a television series that aired from 2013 to 2020. The show is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and follows the agents of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division (S.H.I.E.L.D.) as they investigate and deal with various threats, both human and extraterrestrial. The main characters include Agent Phil Coulson, who returns after being presumed dead in “The Avengers” movie, and a team of agents with unique skills and abilities. Throughout the series, they encounter numerous Marvel characters and organizations and deal with the consequences of events from the Marvel movies. The show received generally positive reviews and was praised for its character development, storytelling, and tie-ins to the larger MCU.
