AC/DC is an Australian rock band that was formed in Sydney in 1973. The band’s original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Bon Scott, lead guitarist Angus Young, rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young, bassist Cliff Williams, and drummer Phil Rudd.

The band is known for its high-energy, hard rock music, which features heavy guitar riffs, pounding drums, and catchy choruses. AC/DC’s sound is often characterized as “power rock” or “heavy metal,” and their music has influenced countless other bands in the genre.

Some of the band’s most famous songs include “Highway to Hell,” “Back in Black,” “Thunderstruck,” and “You Shook Me All Night Long.” Their albums have sold over 200 million copies worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music acts of all time.

Throughout their career, AC/DC has experienced numerous lineup changes, including the tragic death of Bon Scott in 1980. The band continued on with new lead vocalist Brian Johnson and has released several successful albums in the years since, including “The Razor’s Edge” and “Black Ice.”

AC/DC has also gained a reputation for their electrifying live performances, which often feature elaborate stage setups and Angus Young’s iconic schoolboy outfit. The band has toured extensively throughout their career and continues to perform to this day, despite several members retiring from the group.
