The Inhumans are a fictional race of superhumans appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, they first appeared in Fantastic Four #45 (December 1965). The Inhumans have appeared in several comic book series, including their own self-titled series and the series “Inhumans: Attilan Rising”. They have also appeared in animated television series and in live-action form in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Inhumans possess various superhuman abilities, which are activated through exposure to a substance called Terrigen Mist.
